Books: Show us your summer reading list.

I'm almost finished with Adrienne's autobiography and I read My Son Divine in the library last week. I have owned and read Jewel's poetry book since it was first published, but have recently opened it back up as I have begun to read and write poetry again.
I felt the Divine book was a well-rounded account of his life. I think his mother did her best, going beyond what she knew to include way too many passages from his friends to cover the gaps. It was a good introduction to Divine if you have yet to be introduced.
There Are Worse Things is really well written. It's overly comprehensive and I'd say definitly gives you your money's worth. I knew not much of Adrienne until her appearance on Carnivale where I absolutely fell in love with this super sexy older woman. I'd go out with her in a heart beat.
Bitter is the New Black has been a book recommended to me by all of my friends in which often say they "don't read." Meaning this book is so good that you'll even want to read it if you don't "do" books. It looks like another The Only Bush I Trust is My Own so I'm game. We'll see.

I flipped for The B-52's and have been flipping ever since. I always list them as my all time favorite. There's rarely a song from them I don't like. Though oddly enough I hate Rock Lobster which was practically their entrance into slight fame.
Cosmic Thing is my favorite album as I used to listen to it through my walkman on my grandmother's porch, watching the cars go by. The days when walkmen were about as big as a romance novel and the "new" headphones still made you look like an alien creature. Ah, we've come a long way babies.
