Show us the person who knows you best.
Give her a penis and she could be me. We are very twin-like and can even share clothes quite well. Though I admit she has way more stuff I'd rather borrow. ;)
Our interests are similar. We just get along. I don't think we've ever had a disagreement. There's no reason to! We're far to in sync for that.
We could talk to each other forever. For example if we were both in hell sharing a cell we'd be fine. We can talk from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed. We have done that! We have kept pretty much in frequent communication for years now (give or take a few moments of randomness). It's special how we don't run out of things to say to each other. Ever. I don't think that has ever happened with anyone else.
How did you meet your best friend(s)?
She commented to one of my picture posts and I was super flattered. At the time we had both been cam whores and were both kind of known for our websites, respectfully. I had seen her around and certainly was intimidated by her wisdom and beauty. I'm not sure how we got to talking more outside of the drag queen community but I think we slowly warmed up to being good friends.
Our early history is fuzzy, probably more so because I was drunk. LoL But we quickly discovered that we are exactly alike, besides our physical genders. We have very similar opinions, likes, dislikes, preferences, obsessions, compulsions, depressions and photographic qualities.
In July of 2004 we decided to meet for the first time and do The Blogathon. The Blogathon is an Internet charity event where people (alone or with a group) all agree to blog on their websites for 24 hours straight at the end of July. During this time they raise money for a charity of their choice.
My best friend was the first friend that had ever came to my home. I seriously mean the first, ever. No friend in my town or from the Internet had ever cared enough to come over to my home before. We had the same chemistry in person as we did online and got along so well. We are just the most awesome friends ever. She spent the entire weekend and because of the Blogathon we didn't really get out too much. Not like there's much to do in buckwheat Pennsylvania anyway.
While I had done the Blogathon before alone, it was really no easier to do with someone. We did the entire thing together, neither of us ever took a nap. By the end of the evening (the next morning) we were exhausted. Just totally dead to the world.
This was the perfect first meeting bonding experience because it forced us to be together for 24 hours straight, being creative. The night was full of memories. Really good memories. It was actually a turning point in my life and I haven't been the same since. She changed my life for the better and made me realize so many things about myself. We had many photo shoots (I as both genders at several times throughout the weekend) and the pics are still some of my favorite ever. Even though since then we have both lost incredible amounts of weight. We haven't had the opportunity to get together since, so no new fabulous photos of us exist, but I hope to eventually rectify that situation some day in the not so distant future.
A transcript from our 2004 Blogathon can be found here. It's a hoot to read. I still laugh hysterically whenever I go over it.
